It makes for a really captivating story. I won't spoil the details, but just about anything you can imagine a teenage girl thrown into the seedy world of music business would have to deal with - Cherie endured it. And survived. A Highly recommended read.

The Runaways were the all-girl teenage rock band that launched Joan Jett's music career in the 1970s; and Neon Angel is the story as told by the lead singer, Cherie Currie (the Cherry Bomb herself).
